Account Manager

Pitstop Marketing is looking for a sharp, client-ready Account Manager to join our crew in Adelaide.

We’re a fast-moving marketing agency delivering bold, results-driven work across content, digital, and paid media. We’re a small team that punches above our weight – and we’re growing.

This is a genuinely hybrid role. You’ll be the day-to-day lead for a portfolio of client accounts, writing content and copy, running Meta campaigns, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you like variety, client contact, and actually doing the work – not just managing it – you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning a portfolio of client accounts – the go-to person for day-to-day communication, WIPs, and delivery
  • Writing across formats: social, email, blogs, website copy, and ad copy
  • Setting up, managing, and optimising social media ad campaigns from brief to reporting
  • Managing timelines, scopes, and budgets – and flagging issues before they become problems
  • Preparing monthly performance reports with actual insights, not just numbers
  • Contributing to a team culture where quality, creativity and accountability are just how we do things

What you’ll bring:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing agency or similar client-facing role
  • Strong writing skills – you can adapt your voice to different brands and audiences
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads Manager – you know your way around campaign setup, targeting, and optimisation
  • Confident client communicator – you’re calm under pressure and know how to manage expectations
  • Comfortable working across project management and CRM tools. You don’t need to know all of the platforms coming in, but being systems-minded matters.
  • Organised and accountable – you track your time, meet your deadlines, and don’t need to be chased
  • A genuine team player who’s as good at briefing others as they are at doing the work themselves
