Don’t worry, I’m not writing another article to add to the collection of Facebook Graph Search. I haven’t seen a topic so commented on for Facebook since we were all whinging about Edgerank.

I’ve collected five articles in cyberspace which cover different aspects of Facebook Graph. After reading this, you’ll be the expert and ready when it launches after Beta testing.

1. Here’s your general overview, from the reliable Social Media Today.

2. A detailed story of Graph Search, including its history from Wired.

3. Is it part of the battle of the Titans? A Google vs Facebook  article from The Guardian (UK) on the impact that Facebook Graph Search will have on Google Search.

4. The conspiracy theory – Dax Hamman from Huffington Post discusses how Facebook could earn more revenue from Facebook Graph Search.

5. The Brainyard gets into the nitty gritty – What Google search means for business and how to take advantage of it.

Okay – I’m going to cheat now – it’s really six links, as Facebook give a few hints on what business can do to take advantage of Facebook graph search.

So – a summary? A personal opinion?- Your focus shouldn’t change.
As a business, your emphasis should still be on likes, engagement and ensuring your profile is optimised.

As an individual. CHECK YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS.
Parents – check your children’s privacy settings. Facebook say that search ‘respects the privacy and audience of each piece of content’. But you need to have your privacy settings set to what you feel is appropriate to feel comfortable with this statement.

Venture Beat actually blog about this here.

Okay, that’s seven articles. Apologies for the cheat. Enjoy the read.
